Joan F. Davis
Joan F. Davis, 79, of Hermon, died on April 23, 2019, at Canton Potsdam Hospital. There will be no services. Joan is survived by her sons, Robert Davis of Hermon, Kenneth Davis of Hermon, daughters, Penny Cornell of Hermon, Mellody Davis of Hermon, grandchildren, Melissa Brown, Jessica Bessette, Cody Cardinell, great grandchildren, Brianna Breen, Lila Ann Ladison, Willow Pearl Ladison, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sons, Scott Davis, John Davis, a brother, Harry Davis and a sister Bonnie Davis. Joan was born on November 21, 1939, in Lowville, the daughter of the late Robert and Loretta Davis. She married Morris Davis on April 12, 1961 in Niagara Falls, he predeceased her on March 10, 2016. Joan was a waitress at the Cascade Inn in Canton. She enjoyed playing bingo, poker and going to the casino. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
