Linda G. LaRock, 76, of Potsdam, died on January 26, 2017. There will be no services, Linda was a generous donation to science. She is survived by her sons, Richard and his wife Carie LaRock of Potsdam, Bruce LaRock of Potsdam, Robert and his wife Jennifer LaRock of Gouverneur, Allen LaRock of Gouverneur, daughters, Debbie LaRock of Gouverneur and Madonna Fadden of Gouverneur, sisters, Elsie Gibson of Pennsylvania and Karen and her husband Tom McGregor of Potsdam, 15 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Linda was born on January 14, 1941 in Bangor, the daughter of the late Roy and Mildred Willette Gibson. On May 12, 1959, she married Richard Abraham LaRock, he died on July 2, 1998. She worked at Canton Potsdam Hospital in housekeeping for 30 years, retiring in 2006. Linda loved traveling, reading, knitting and camping in Colton. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley.

  2. To the family of Linda Larock…..we are so sorry to hear of Linda’s passing. I used to work the 4 o’clock shift in another department at the hospital (a few years ago) and Linda and some others would meet on break for popcorn in the cafeteria. She was a hard worker and a very sincere person. Will miss her infectious smile. Gods blessing and prayers to her family.

Alex is like a daughter to me. i talked to her about this. she was happy talking about her. big smiles come over her face. she will be deeply missed. so form my family to youse we sending condolences to all of your family.

  4. I worked many Evening shifts with Linda. All fondly remembered, she was a kind, funny person. My condolences on your loss.
