Warren is survived by his wife Peggy, mother Myrtle Cardinell, Gouverneur, sons, Warren G. Cardinell II, DeKalb, Troy Cardinell, Canton, Holden Cardinell at home, daughter, Tasha Hamilton, Rensselaer Falls, brothers, Francis “Butch” (Christine) Cardinell, Rochester, Robert Cardinell Sr. and Edward (Zelphia) Cardinell, Gouverneur, sisters Betty (Jerry) Cox, Dianna (Paul) Shepardson, Rowena (Jerry) Cameron, Gouverneur, Brenda (Ray) Maher, PA, 5 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Beulah and Patricia Cardinell, and Roxanne Kirkpatrick. Warren was born February 23, 1954 in Ogdensburg, the son of Francis and Myrtle Hemingway Cardinell. He was a laborer for Laborers Local 322 in Massena. He married Peggy Brown on July 16, 1988 in Canton. Bim loved to hunt, fish, cook, garden, bowl, go camping, play cards, be outdoors, farming, playing softball and Karaoke. A funeral service will be at the funeral home, Saturday, January 21st, 1:00 PM with Father Doug Lucia and Reverend William Hart officiating. Burial will be in the spring at the Union Cemetery, DeKalb Junction. Sylvia is survived by her husband James, sons, Joseph (Jodie) Spadaccini, Canton, Tomme (Michelle) Spadaccini, Vernon, CT, brothers, Schuyler (Karen) Bush, Sterling (Dawn) Bush, Stewart (Doreen) Bush, all of Florida, grand children, Anthony, Shawn, Jason and Matthew Spadaccini, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased a sister, Sharon Robinson. Sylvia was born November 28, 1940 in Gouverneur, the daughter of Merrill and Lida M. Weaver Bush. She graduated from Hermon DeKalb Central School in 1958 and the Watertown Business School. She married James C. Spadaccini on May 14, 1960 at St. Henry’s Church, DeKalb Junction. She was a billing clerk at E.J. Noble Hospital, Gouverneur. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Richville, and enjoyed going for rides, and listening to country western music. William J. Walton Jr., 72, died at home with family, friends, and his beloved Jake, under the care of Hospice, January 11, 2012, Allen-Denesha Funeral Home, DeKalb Junction, entrusted with arrangements. Burial will be in the spring at the convenience of the family in Spragueville Cemetery. William is survived by, his wife of 28 years, Bonnie, sons, Russ (Kathy) Walton, Penneville, Timothy (Joni) Walton, Syracuse, daughter, Marcy Mareno and husband, Syracuse, stepdaughters, Wanda (Marvin) Garvey, DeKalb Junction, Kim (Scott) Walton, Canton, Laurie Walton, Utica, a brother, Garry (Sherrill) Walton, Gouverneur, a sister, Kay (Bill) Walton, Canton, 4 grand children, a great grandchild, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son William J. Walton III, brothers, Richard, Wallace and Wayne Walton. William was born March 18, 1939 in Richville, the son of William and Velma Phillips Walton Sr.. William graduated from Gouverneur High School in 1958; he was the first Electrical Apprentice in New York State. He worked at St. Joe for 20 years, then he drove tractor trailer for local companies. Steve is survived by, his wife, Vickie, son Stephen Luther Jr. (companion Jennifer Soper), daughter, Anita Marie (Scott) Fenlong, all of DeKalb Junction, brother, Clifford Luther, sisters, Eilleen (Butch) Morehouse, Cindy (Butch) Monroe, Irene Birdue, Alice (Phillip) Chaney, Roslie (Glen) Ames, Ellen (Rick) Briggs, Kathy (Paul) McKeon, Roxanne (James) Saber, Ruth (Don) Anthony, Anna (Gary) Brothers, grandchildren, Dustin and Kayna Fenlong, Stephen III, Bailey, Alexa, Kaitlyn, Abbigail, Emmah, and Keadon Luther, several nieces and nephews. Stephen was born April 9, 1950 in Hermon, the son of Allen and Dorothy Halliday Luther. He graduated in 1968 from Knox Memorial School. On April 29, 1972 he and Vickie Roy were married at St. Henry’s Church. He retired from the U. S. Army in 1989. He was in the Army from 1969 until his retirement, he earned the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal (4), Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Unit Citation (1st OLC), Army Commendation Medal, Air Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross, Unit Citation with Palm (1st OLC), Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the NCO Professional Development Ribbon (3). Steve was a member of AMVETS Post 11, VFW Ogdensburg, and the American Legion. Stephen worked as a deliveryman for Rex Appliance in Watertown after his retirement from the Army. He enjoyed drag racing, and building motors in his garage. He loved spending time with his grandchildren; his family was the love of his life. David was born September 20, 1936 in Upper Saucon Township, Lehigh County, PA, the son of Harold and Mae Lieberman Koch. He married Roxann Rentzheimer in Hecktown, PA, May 28, 1955. He was a security guard at the Tide Water Golf Course in North Myrtle Beach, SC, before his retirement. David was a member of the DeKalb Junction United Methodist Church, life member of the Hecktown Volunteer Fire Company, Chaplin at the Elks Lodge in Calabash, NC. He enjoyed playing cards, making boxes for flowers; Sunday drives and was a NASCAR fan. Sanford (Patricia) Bacon, DeKalb Junction, Larry V. (Rebecca) Peters, Madrid, Lonnie W. (Sherry) Peters, Trion, GA, daughters, Joyce Coller, Potsdam, Beverly J. Daniels, Madrid, stepchildren, John (Rosemary) Peters, AZ, Joseph (Donna) Peters, DeKalb Junction, Donald Peters, TX, a sister, Ida Farmer, Adams, 9 grandchildren, many great and great great grandchildren, a nephew, Vincent G. (Agnes)Farmer, Binghamton, and many cousins. She was predeceased by stepdaughters, Mary Lou Peters, Betty Hundley and Margaret Carvel. Zella was born September 21, 1911, the daughter of John and Edna Shultz Lancto. She attended Antwerp Schools. Zella married Ellwyn P. Bacon on December 28, 1929, which ended in divorce, she married Leon B. Peters in March, 1951, he died on June 14, 1981. She was a nurse’s aide at the Orlando Regional Medical Center, Orlando, FL, for more than 30 years, retiring in 1993. She enjoyed spending time with her family, knitting and reading. Kathy is survived by her daughter Amanda Hamilton, DeKalb Junction, parents, Kenneth and Lois Alguire, DeKalb Junction, sisters, Ann (Brian) White, Russell, Lorie (David) Gladle, Edwards, her companion, Danny Collins, Hannawa Falls, his children, Christopher Collins, Laura Montenegro, Patrick Collins, his grandchildren, Haley and Matthew Montenegro, several nieces and nephews. Kathy was born in Gouverneur, November 9, 1958. She married Asa Hamilton, November 20, 1982 which ended in divorce. She was a well seasoned employee for Maplewood Campus, United Helpers, for over 30 years. Kathy was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, Colton, the Sno-Skippers Snowmobile Club, Colton, a former member of the DeKalb Junction Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, Girl Scout Leader and Hermon DeKalb Central School Board; she was also a Eucharistic minister. Jean M. Evans, 91, of Gouverneur, died July 20, 2011, at Kinney Nursing Home, Allen-Denesha Funeral Home, DeKalb Junction, in care of arrangements.
Calling hours will be Saturday, July 23, 11:00 am – 1:30 PM, the funeral service will follow, at the funeral home, Reverend William Hart and Reverend James Warrington officiating, followed by the burial in Old DeKalb Cemetery, Old DeKalb.
Jean is survived by his son, Robert M. Evans, Gouverneur, daughters, Bonnie J. Knowlton, DeKalb Junction, Trudy M. (Peter) Meyn of Williamson, NY and Zephyr Hills, FL, Dixie ( Murray) Scott, Canton, Joadie (Jimmy) Goodison, Rochester, a sister, Susan Elizabeth Mashaw, Gouverneur, 16 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased a brother Robert Evans, and grandchildren, Karen and Kathy Meyn.
He was born in Sennett, New York, the son of Jean Paul and Susan Grant MacDougall Evans on April 5, 1920. He married Eva M. Mashaw, November 12, 1939 in Philadelphia, NY, she died on January 26, 2008. He was in the U. S. Army, there he earned the European – African – Middle Eastern Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. Jean was a maintenance supervisor at Kodak in Rochester for 12 years, he retired in 1982, previous to that he owned and operated a garbage pickup service, known as Mac Evans Trucking in Gouverneur from 1945- 1970.
Jean was a member of the Silas Wainwright American Legion Post in Gouverneur, the VFW in Gouverneur, and the DeKalb Junction United Methodist Church. He loved gardening (flowers and vegetables), wood working, music, making puzzles, bowling, softball, sports, camping, and his bible study was extremely important to him.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the DeKalb Junction United Methodist Church, Macomb Community Wesleyan Church or Kinney Nursing Home.

Lyle P. Masters, 69, of Leroy, died June 7, 2011. Calling hours will be Saturday, June 11, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., the funeral service will follow, at the funeral home with the Reverend William Masters officiating. Burial will be in the Old DeKalb Cemetery, Old DeKalb.

Lyle is survived by his wife, Nancy; sons Lyle P. Masters II, Old DeKalb, Brian J. Masters, Webster, and Perry T. Masters, Canton; daughters Linda (Edward) Newcombe, Rensselaer Falls, Diane (Thomas) Pike, Heuvelton, Terry (Ed) Emrich, TX, Sherry (Dean) Johnson, TX, and Cherrie Masters, TX; brother Ken Masters Jr; 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Ronald Masters.

He was born in the Town of DeKalb, the child of Kenneth and Mabel Perry Masters on July 27, 1941. He married Nancy Poore, April 6, 1976 at their home in Depeyster. Lyle was a farmer and worked for the Town of Depeyster Highway Department.

He was a member of the Old DeKalb Methodist Church and Leroy Methodist Church. He loved to hunt, fish, dance and music.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, June 1st, 12 – 2 p.m., the funeral service will follow at the funeral home with the Lay Minister Margaret Hance officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Canton.Stanley is survived by his sons, Tom Childs (Phyllis Foster), Hannawa Falls, and Rella Childs, Keysville, TN; daughter Betty (Dale) Aldrich, Lisbon; grandsons Andy Aldrich and Tim (Crystal) Aldrich; great grandchildren Zachary Aldrich and Lucas Aldrich; brother Merlin (Jean) Childs, Rensselaer Falls; sisters Minnie Pike, Canton, Helen (Don) Houck Canastota, and Betty Simmons, Canton; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a son, Bernard Childs; a brother, Mertin Childs; and a sister, Laura Austin.

He was born in the Town of DeKalb, the child of Ralph and Beatrice Stone Childs. He was in the U.S. Army during WWII, he was award the Philippines Liberation Ribbon, the Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal and WWII Victory Medal. He married Alice C. O’Grady on January 21, 1961 in DeKalb Junction, Justice of the Peace Elmer Denesha, officiating, she died February 28, 2005. Stanley was a highway crewman for the Town of DeKalb, and prior to that was a mechanic of farm equipment for Art Robinson in Canton. He was a member of the VFW of Canton, and the Kendrew Methodist Church. He loved to garden, play cards and farming.
