I adopted Del 24yrs.ago,so she’s been my “mom”for these years.I will miss you ma,and all the crazy times we’ve had.I would do anything to get a laugh out of you.I will never forget the time I was at your house, and it was lunch time and you asked me-“Wanna half a sandwich?”..(Instead of just saying a sandwich). How we laughed over that then, and all thru these years.May you rest in peace ma,you put up a tough fight.I will have you in my heart and mind forever. You will truly be missed by many.God now has an amazing angel!!

We have no words to describe how much we loved gramma. The funniest memory is how she would tap her long nails on the table and tyler and travis would copy her. Now myalee is trying to do it. 🙂 I know that you are in a better place now. Please keep everyone in line up there… lol… especially my brother (travis) and sister (angel). They need you just like we did. Poor papa dean is stuck with us all. 🙂 xoxo, tab, eric, tyler, travis, and myalee

You could always make me laugh and I will never forget that. You will always be with each and everyone of us. Now you can watch over all of us.Rest in peace and know that you will have everlasting peace and love and no more suffering.
Aunt Del, I will miss you so very much. I will miss you calling me up saying if you weren’t going to call then I will. Then you’d say, the phone works both ways you know!! I’d say, I know Aunt Del, I will call you soon!! Then a few weeks later all of a sudden there would be a flash in my head—-Gotta call Aunt Del!! Then later that night, sure enough you’d call!!
I loved you very much and some day will see you again because I know you will be the first one to take my hand to help me on my journey.
Look over us and keep us all safe.
Love you and miss you!!

I can’t tell you the first time I met my dear friend Del. It was sometime in the transaction of Dean leaving the mail route and Kevin taking it over. I can tell you how I felt; I loved her from day one. So full of life and energy. And her “Tupper Lake woodsman’s” mouth would make you laugh. She always made me smile. She endured a lot in the last few years but stayed strong through it all. She taught me a lot about strength and endurance and I am going to miss her greatly. Love you Del. Until we meet again. RIP
