Dear Mrs. Hendricks and Nicole,
So sorry to hear about Mr. Hendricks. We met each other almost every morning as we passed driving to work. If I happened to pass a road job he was working on, he always gave me a big smile and a wave. I will miss his wave in the morning. Please do not hesitate to let me know if there is anything I can do. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
I worked from time to time with Rick at the DOT and talked to him many times on the phone when he requested supplies or ordered things. He was a great person to talk to and he always had a smile. His family is in our prayers.
I had the pleasure of working with Rick at the DOT for the past 13 years. He was easy to talk about many things including deer hunting and old cars we had owned. He was very dedicated to his job. Rick spoke very lovingly of his wife and daughter. He will be greatly missed.
I just want you Mrs.Hendricks and Nicole to know, that it was a great pleasure knowing your husband and dad. He was a great friend, spoke with great pride about you Nicole and was devoted to his family. Rick worked hard at his job for the DOT to provide for that family and loved to hunt with his friends. May he rest in peace he will be greatly missed by many. My prayers are with you both.
